IN FOUR SEASONS
The core of this home’s interior concept is the surrounding nature. The ground floor is almost entirely glazed, allowing the landscape to flow into the interior through expansive windows. Inner courtyards formed between two architectural volumes create the main spatial axis, where nature becomes part of everyday life.
The interior was designed to coexist with nature rather than compete with it, expressed through form, color, texture, and materiality. A calm, balanced palette is paired with contrasting geometries, where strong rectangular forms are softened by rounded lines. Rough and gentle materials are combined to create harmony, with natural oak veneer, stone, concrete, metal, clay plaster, and textured rugs shaping the atmosphere. Lighting emphasizes soft, indirect illumination, while natural light plays a key role: southeast-facing windows fill the space with morning sun, and in the evening light filters through the glass staircase. Beneath it, a small succulent greenhouse adds a subtle natural accent.
On the second floor, tall transoms and skylights enhance the sense of light and openness. Integrated wall cabinetry blends with the walls, allowing the spaces to remain calm and uncluttered. The main bedroom faces the forest, with a sculptural wardrobe volume forming both a partition and a functional element. In the private bathroom, a centrally placed washbasin oriented toward the landscape creates a space for daily rituals and quiet moments. Children’s rooms feature simple raised sleeping platforms surrounded by soft wall panels, offering comfort and a grounded connection to the space.
Life in this home unfolds in a continuous cycle, shaped by the rhythm of the four seasons.
